The main purpose of the programme is to equip sustainable Agriculture Professionals with skills and knowledge required to make institutions manage agricultural certification, ICS Development systems and it’s value chain management professionally. These include include blended learning skills.
The PG Diploma/ Diploma / Short Term courses comprises four days to 6 and 12 months duration. Each programme is offered in a blended mode comprising online and on-campus components. The on-campus components will be held in Sevapur/ Vinobajipuram Kadavur Karur district, Tamilnadu. Participants have the flexibility of joining the PG Diploma/ Diploma / Short Term courses or programme or individual Certificate programmes.
The key features of the programme:
Provide Agriculture Professionals or Educators with an understanding of sustainability Organic Agriculture, Organic Value chain management inclusion, the current policy provisions, and the benefits and barriers of inclusive Agriculture education in the Indian Organic Agriculture Food systems.
Prepare Agriculture Professionals educators with skills to identify and support crop diversity in Soil, Plant and Health of the living ecosystem
Provide educators with knowledge and skills to set up inclusive practices in their own contexts
Who can join?
This programme is for individuals working in the space of Sustainable Agriculture in Teaching, Research mentoring or leadership roles including:
Organic
Agriculture Professionals, Scientists, ICS Development systems in NGO and Non Agricultural Professionals in the Development Sector
Eligibility:
- You are required to have minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the Organic Agriculture sector
- Working knowledge of English or Tamil (reading, writing & speaking)
- UG in any discipline (preferred)
